Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior geoscience leader to guide multidisciplinary environmental teams across Northern Ontario and beyond. The role blends science, regulation, and community engagement to support responsible development in mining, energy, infrastructure, and natural resources.

You will steer environmental assessments, site remediation, and risk programs, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Geo-Environmental Science, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering.
Registration as a P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Ontario, and QP under O.Reg. 153/04.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technical leadership across environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment programs.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver complex environmental projects impacting planning and infrastructure.
Mentor and develop talent across the Environmental business and strengthen succession planning.
Advise executive leadership, strategic partners and major clients on environmental risk and regulatory frameworks.
Champion innovation by advancing new methodologies and best practices in environmental engineering and geoscience.
Drive business growth through seller-doer leadership and opportunity forecasting.
Strengthen cross-sector collaboration to expand environmental services regionally.
Oversee risk management on pursuits including contract review and commercial strategy.
