Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager specializing in environmental permitting and assessment for mining clients in Eastern Canada.

You will lead permitting and impact assessments from our Sudbury, Toronto, Mississauga, or Ottawa offices, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients to deliver compliant, timely solutions. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in project management, with at least 3 years in consulting or mining, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, Business or related field.
• 8+ years of professional project management experience, including 3+ years in consulting or mining proponents.
• Experience with environmental and social impact assessment processes in Canada (federal/provincial or combined).
• Experience managing project finances, budgets, forecasts, scope changes, schedules, resources, and client expectations.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English; French or Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, scope, schedules, resources, change, and client satisfaction for environmental permitting and assessment projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary professionals to align objectives, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Apply PM tools and best practices to meet stakeholder needs and business goals.
• Lead planning, financial tracking, progress analysis, forecasting, and change management.
• Strengthen client relationships through clear, ethical, and proactive communication and accountability.
