Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to blend technical expertise with sales acumen, helping enterprise merchants design and implement scalable solutions on the Affirm platform.

You will lead technical discovery, analyze requirements, and craft well-architected approaches that win deals. You will work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams to develop merchant solutions, act as a trusted technical adviser, and influence product direction while scaling internal

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business/technology or equivalent technical account management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on Affirm’s integration solutions and map capabilities to merchant systems.
• Architect end-to-end solutions addressing merchant challenges including complex integrations and customizations.
• Build trust with internal and external technical counterparts and foster enterprise relationships.
• Partner with sales and partner engineering to drive opportunities for large customers.
• Provide actionable product feedback to influence development and feature prioritization.
• Create reusable assets and training materials to scale go-to-market efforts.
• Provide technical input into sales planning and forecasting and identify risks early.
