Job summary

Agilus by Synergie seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Saskatoon to lead electrical deliverables for large-scale mining and industrial projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers and contribute to safe, innovative project execution from concept through commissioning.

The role requires a BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering, P.Eng registration with APEGSD, and 8+ years of industrial experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer registration with APEGSD required.

A typical day:

• Lead electrical engineering deliverables to meet project scope, schedule, and budget requirements
• Prepare technical documents including calculations, specifications, drawings, studies, and reports
• Coordinate engineering activities and provide guidance to electrical engineering team members
• Review engineering documentation, shop drawings, and interdisciplinary project deliverables
• Support construction activities, vendor coordination, and Factory Acceptance Testing
• Monitor engineering progress and contribute to project reporting, quality, and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Hold a BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering
• Maintain Professional Engineer registration with APEGSD
• Demonstrate 8+ years of electrical engineering experience on industrial projects
• Possess strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and design best practices
• Use AutoCAD, MicroStation, and data-centric design systems effectively
• Exhibit strong communication, organizational, leadership, and project coordination skills
