Job summary
Agilus Consulting Group in Vancouver, BC seeks an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for major mining and industrial projects. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in an EPCM environment.
Required: Engineering degree with P.Eng designation in Canada and 7+ years of experience in industrial or EPCM settings. Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, ASPEN and SPELEx is expected.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree and P.Eng. designation in Canada.
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/EPCM environments.
- Experience with mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineers, designers, and CAD personnel through project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers-in-training and design staff.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, and equipment packages.
- Review vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Develop conceptual designs, studies, technical reports and proposals.
- Coordinate with clients and project teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.
