Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer in Vancouver to drive major industrial electrical design efforts. You will mentor junior designers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and oversee design packages from detailed design through commissioning in EPC/EPCM environments.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in electrical layouts, cable routing and installation design, with proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D, SmartPlant or Revit and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design or related discipline.
• Significant electrical design experience within EPC/EPCM or industrial environments.
• Demonstrate leadership of design teams or discipline leadership.
• Experience supporting mining, oil & gas, chemicals, power or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design activities on major industrial projects.
• Develop equipment layouts, cable routing, grounding and installation drawings.

Total rewards: $118000.00 - $160000.00 annually Earn a competitive salary of $118,000 to $160,000+ based on experience.

Typical day

Lead the preparation and delivery of electrical design packages.

• Develop equipment layouts, cable routing, grounding, lighting, and installation drawings

Successful candidates will have

• Hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or a related discipline
• Bring significant electrical design experience within EPC, EPCM, or industrial environments
• Demonstrate previous experience leading design teams or acting as a discipline lead
• Possess strong experience supporting mining, oil & gas, chemicals, power, or infrastructure projects
• Apply expertise in electrical layouts, cable tray routing, grounding, lighting, and installation design
• Utilize AutoCAD and modern 3D design platforms such as AVEVA E3D, SmartPlant, or Revit
• Exhibit strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
