The Non-Integrated Areas (NIA) Planning & Strategy team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical & Automation Engineer tojoin a collaborative generation planning team comprising 10 other engineers dedicated to generating electricity for 14 isolated microgrids that serve over 20 primarily Indigenous communities.
As the asset owner, the NIA group is accountable for capital and maintenance planning for 17 diesel generating stations and 1 run-of-river hydro facility. Our Client iscurrently integrating grid-scale battery energy storage and advanced microgrid control systems to enable community-owned renewable energy projects. This initiative involves applying leading-edge, first-of-its-kind systems.
