Raise is hiring an Intermediate Piping Engineer – Fire Protection in Burnaby, BC, on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on designing, analyzing, and implementing fire protection systems for hydroelectric facilities and related infrastructure.
You will develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions from concept through construction, commissioning, and turnover, collaborating with multiple disciplines and external contractors to deliver reliable piping systems.
Raise is currently hiring an Intermediate Piping Engineer – Fire Protection on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our client is a major electrical utility supporting hydroelectric generation facilities and critical power infrastructure across British Columbia.
The successful candidate will join the Generation Stations Mechanical Engineering Balance of Plant team and support capital projects, condition assessments, asset management initiatives, operational support, and engineering design services.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
The Intermediate Piping Engineer – Fire Protection will focus on the design, analysis, and implementation of fire protection systems for hydroelectric generating stations and associated infrastructure. The role involves developing safe, practical, and cost-effective engineering solutions while supporting projects from conceptual design through construction, commissioning, and turnover.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering, operations, maintenance, construction, project management, and other technical teams to deliver reliable fire protection and piping systems.
