Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage and guide teams across EHV transmission line projects for utilities, COOPs, and developers. You will act as a subject matter expert for 500kV and higher designs and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires supervising multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring engineers, and delivering design deliverables while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience in Utility Transmission projects.
• 5+ years of experience in 500kV and/or 765kV transmission line design.
• Knowledge of engineering standards including NESC, IEC, IEEE and ANSI.
• Experience serving as firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering project teams for EHV designs.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the project life cycle.
• Develop and maintain design deliverables and conduct independent design reviews.
• Ensure projects meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on 500kV+ transmission line designs.
• Mentor and coach team members.
