Job summary

Turner & Townsend Pty Limited in Canada is seeking an experienced Director of Cost Management and Estimation with 10+ years in Quantity Surveying to lead complex cost initiatives across real estate and infrastructure projects.

You will validate cost estimates, benchmark market conditions, develop proposals, and mentor the Cost Management team while fostering client relationships and adherence to MRICS/PQS standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Quantity Surveying / Cost Estimating experience.
• Understanding of local market dynamics and regional construction practices.
• Ability to lead projects within a senior delivery team.
• Strong interpersonal skills to train and develop teams.
• MRICS or PQS accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of cost consulting services to real estate and infrastructure clients.
• Lead cost management scope on projects including estimate preparation, reviews, budgeting, benchmarking and cost reporting.
• Review and validate cost estimates across real estate sectors.
• Mentor and develop staff within the Cost Management team.
• Lead the development of Proposals, Bids & Tenders; manage internal resources.
