Job summary

PLATO is seeking a Senior DevOps Lead in Canada to define and lead the DevOps strategy, practices, and engineering standards that enable secure, reliable, and scalable Microsoft‑based technology solutions for our clients.

This role drives CI/CD automation, cloud‑native adoption in Azure, and platform engineering across teams, while establishing governance, security controls (DevSecOps), and ongoing improvements to delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of DevOps experience across development, infrastructure, security, and operations.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Architecture and secure, scalable platforms.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD automation.
• Infrastructure as Code via Terraform and Bicep.
• Leadership in enterprise-scale platform governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise DevOps practices, standards, and operating models.
• Lead CI/CD automation for streamlined development, testing, deployment, and release management processes.
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native services and modern engineering practices within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Establish and oversee DevOps governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Lead the implementation of DevSecOps practices, embedding security controls and governance throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Promote automation and platform engineering capabilities that improve deployment reliability, operational efficiency, and service quality.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to design and maintain scalable and secure delivery pipelines.
• Support enterprise transformation initiatives through the adoption of modern DevOps methodologies, automation frameworks, and cloud platform capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on platform governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
