Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto is seeking a Senior DevOps Consultant to lead DevOps support for ASG projects and to provide technical leadership across delivery, QA, production teams.

You will design and maintain deployment pipelines, work with Azure DevOps, Red Hat OpenShift, GitHub Actions and middleware tuning, mentor teammates, and drive continuous improvements in CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in IT with independent contributor/technical leadership experience
• Background in GO/Java/Python/NodeJS development and Middleware administration
• Strong understanding of JVM tuning and DevOps concepts/tools
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and version control systems (Git/GitHub)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ASG DevOps
• Design, build and maintain deployment systems and artifacts
• Define and maintain CI/CD strategies with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Collaborate across delivery, development, QA and production teams to ensure on-time delivery
