Job summary

OMERS / Oxford Properties Group is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and govern investment data platforms. You will develop end-to-end data pipelines, implement medallion architecture, and own the orchestration layer to ensure reliable, scalable data delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or data platform roles
• Experience with investment platforms or data warehouses a plus
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills
• Experience with modern data stacks and cloud data platforms
• Hands-on with orchestration tools and CI/CD for data code

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines with ELT/ETL patterns
• Implement medallion architecture with Bronze/Silver/Gold layers
• Own orchestration layer and ensure pipeline reliability with SLIs/SLOs
• Translate business requirements into relational and dimensional models
• Establish data lineage, data quality controls, and dashboards
• Develop data documentation and runbooks for operability
