BDP International is seeking a Sr. Customs Rater to support our customs operations. The role focuses on tariff classification, valuation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring smooth clearance of shipments and accurate documentation.

You will work with internal teams and external brokers to maintain compliant, timely processes. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in customs brokerage and a solid understanding of HS codes, with hands-on experience using CargoWise.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or higher in Customs, Logistics, or related field.
• CCS or other customs brokerage certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HS tariff codes and trade regulations.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in customs brokerage.
• Experience with CargoWise software.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and submit import/export declarations accurately.
• Classify goods by tariff codes and assess duties.
• Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with brokers and internal teams for clearance.
• Maintain accurate data entry and records.
