Job summary

Delmar International Inc. in Windsor, Ontario seeks a Customs Rater to manage documentation from importers and freight forwarders, verify data, and maintain files in the Delmar system. You will request missing documents and liaise with customs and freight teams to ensure smooth client service.

The role requires 1–2 years in customs/transportation, knowledge of HS tariff classification, and the ability to work both in a team and independently with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in customs and transportation.
• Experience with local and national brokerage procedures and customs regulations.
• Working knowledge of customs import regulations and HS tariff classification.

Responsibilities

• Handle documentation from importers, freight forwarders, airlines and transports.
• Verify and enter documents into the Delmar system; update existing files as needed.
• Request missing documents and coordinate with customs and freight departments to provide service.
