Job summary

Stevenson & White in Ottawa is seeking a Senior Credit & Receivables Analyst to manage customer accounts, assess risk, and support AR controls. This full-time, permanent role reports to the Corporate Controller and emphasizes process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in AR/credit, strong English communication, and proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus in our hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Formal accounting education or relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in AR or credit.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer accounts, partnering with clients and internal teams to resolve invoicing issues.
• Monitoring credit risk, payment trends, and account activity.
• Overseeing onboarding, portal management, invoice processing, reconciliations, and collections support.
• Maintaining AR procedures, controls, and documentation to support audits and compliance.
• Providing guidance to the Accounts Receivable Specialist and driving process improvements.

The Senior Credit & Receivables Analyst is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, assessing customer risk, and supporting process improvements and internal controls within the accounts receivable function.
