Stevenson & White is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Ottawa to join a real estate development and construction-focused team. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, payroll and benefits administration, and operational analysis across entities in a shared services setup.

The role requires CPA eligibility or designation, 3+ years of accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. A strong benefits package and vacation/shutdown periods accompany a stable, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required or strongly preferred.
• CPA designation is complete or in progress.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and analysis for development projects, including budgeting, cash flow, profitability tracking, and cost monitoring.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes with reconciliations and working papers.
• Oversee treasury activities such as bank draws, cash calls, and intercompany transactions while maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review project status and support business reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, internal controls, reporting systems, and overall operational efficiency.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organization through financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, payroll and benefits administration, and operational analysis across multiple entities within a shared services environment.
