Job summary

Holt Renfrew in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Senior Producer, Creative Production to lead editorial photography and video from concept to final delivery. The role requires weekly on-site work at our Bloor Street West offices and may demand extended hours on production days.

You will mentor the Coordinator, Production & Photo Studio, manage budgets and vendor contracts, oversee on-set logistics, and coordinate post-production and asset delivery across marketing, web, and editorial teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in editorial video and/or photo production; end-to-end experience managing large, complex shoots.
• Proven ability to supervise and coach junior staff and independent contractors.
• Exceptional multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Apple Systems.
• Basic knowledge of production tools and software (Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One).
• Familiarity with budgeting tools, project management and shoot management platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to interface seamlessly with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience securing permits and location agreements; managing studio operations and H&S compliance.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in photography, film, production, or related field.
• Valid G-Class driver's license preferred.
• Background in retail or fashion is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production: define scope, concept, and deliverables for photography and video.
• Develop and own production schedules, timelines, and budgets; manage freelance crew, talent, equipment, studios, and locations.
• On-set operations: manage crew and talent, schedule, approvals, and safety.
• Post-production: supervise edits, feedback, and asset delivery; coordinate with stakeholders.
