Placements24 is seeking a Senior Completions Engineer for our client in Kimberley to lead completion design, execution, and optimization for oil and gas assets. You will develop completion strategies, select equipment, and supervise wellsite operations to maximize asset value.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in completion design, 7+ years of experience in challenging environments, and a proven ability to manage complex well challenges. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well completions engineering in challenging environments.
• Proficiency in completion design software and wellbore modeling tools.
• Experience with artificial lift systems and stimulation techniques is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer well completion programs for conventional and unconventional reservoirs, considering production optimization and well integrity.
• Select and specify completion equipment, including casing, liners, packers, safety valves, and artificial lift systems.
• Develop detailed operational procedures and contingency plans for completion operations.
• Supervise and provide technical support to completion crews and service providers at the wellsite.
• Analyze completion performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for future wells.
• Ensure all completion activities comply with company HSE policies and regulatory requirements in Kimberley.
