Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a mining-focused team in Kimberley. You will lead design, installation, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency in harsh mining environments.

You will perform structural and fatigue analyses, oversee capital projects from feasibility to commissioning, and develop predictive maintenance programs. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 7–10 years of mining experience.

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and predictive maintenance programs for critical mining assets.

Requirements
