Placements24 is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our client in Kimberley. The role analyzes operational data, identifies trends, and delivers actionable insights to optimize performance across Oil & Gas ventures.

You will develop KPIs and dashboards, prepare management reports, support budgeting/forecasting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements in a hybrid work setting.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Operations Analyst to join their team in Kimberley . This role will be instrumental in analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize performance across their Oil & Gas ventures. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and management teams to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making. This hybrid position offers a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to contribute effectively while maintaining a balanced work life in a dynamic analytical capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various sources.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track operational performance.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on operational performance and trends.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for operational activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational changes and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations analysis, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
