Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking an experienced communications professional to support senior leaders in Canadian Commercial Banking. You will craft strategic messages, plan communications, and drive employee engagement.

You will translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content while partnering with executives and cross-functional teams to align with business priorities. You will lead planning and execution across channels, measure impact, and continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Writing & editing skills - Expert.
• Ability to distill technical information into key messages for audiences.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.
• Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end communications planning and execution for senior leaders.
• Develop strategic communications that translate business priorities into clear messages.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs, secure approvals and deliver solutions.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of communications initiatives.
• Provide strategic input into business decisions and advise senior leaders.
