TalentSphere Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead commercial interior construction and renovation projects in the Greater Toronto Area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial interiors construction experience.
• Previous experience as Site Superintendent or in a site leadership role.
• Strong experience coordinating multiple trades on active interior projects.
• Solid understanding of drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of commercial renovation and interior construction methods.
• Ability to manage projects in occupied environments is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on site.
• Commitment to site safety and quality.
• Ability to work on projects throughout the GTA, including downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on commercial interior construction and renovation projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades throughout all stages of construction.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to established timelines.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, access and sequencing of trades.
• Review drawings and specifications and ensure construction is completed in accordance with project requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues in coordination with the Project Manager, consultants and trades.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain project quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure deficiencies are addressed promptly.
• Maintain a safe, organized and professional job site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety requirements.
• Participate in site meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Coordinate inspections, deficiencies, turnover and project closeout.
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
