Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is assisting a well-established client in Ontario with the search for a Commercial Manager to lead commercial and contractual functions on a major civil infrastructure project in the GTA. The role focuses on protecting project value and ensuring delivery success.

You will manage the full commercial lifecycle from pre-construction through completion, lead procurement and change management, oversee budgets and cost reporting, and mentor project teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in commercial management and contract administration.
• Experience with major transportation or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Professional designations are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contractual management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Oversee contract administration and ensure obligations are met.
• Lead procurement, negotiation, award, and administration of major subcontract packages.
• Manage change control processes including pricing, evaluation, and execution.
• Identify risks and opportunities and report to project leadership.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cost reports and commercial projections.
• Monitor financial performance and deliver regular updates.
• Support project controls, earned value, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage claims, notices, disputes, and commercial correspondence.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
