Job summary

Concorde Precision Machining, a subsidiary of Reko International Group Inc., is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist in Windsor, ON. The role involves manufacturing all machined components in a clean, safe shop. You will verify materials, operate CNC and manual equipment, and ensure parts meet drawings and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in machining, high school diploma, and the ability to obtain crane/forklift certification. Competitive benefits and shift work are provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
• Grade 12 or equivalent high school diploma.
• Must be willing to obtain crane and forklift certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Own tools for daily tasks (micrometers, verniers, indicators, etc.).
• Machining software knowledge including MasterCam and Smirt; asset.
• Knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controllers; asset.
• Experience in a machine shop; asset.
• Ability to work shifts (days/afternoons), overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine shop equipment to manufacture machined components.
• Verify material size, shape, and type per drawings and instructions.
• Inspect parts to blueprint dimensions using measuring tools.
• Prepare components for finishing and assembly.
• Meet goals and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Job Summary

Here’s what a typical day looks like!

• Toworkinaclean,safe,andorganizedmanner,asoutlinedintheHealthandSafety Program; this includes crane and forklift training and use
• Verify and identify materials for size, shape, and type to ensure that the material selectediscorrectfortheapplicationaccordingtoengineeringdrawingsandinstructions
• Operate and use machine shop equipment for the purpose of manufacturing all machinedcomponents;thisequipmentincludesbridgeports,surfacegrinders,horizontal lathe, saws, and CNC machinery
• Useallmeasuringandcheckingskillstoverifythatallmachinedcomponentsarecorrect to blueprint dimensions
• Utilizeandrespectmachineshopequipment
• Participatinginfinishingofdetailsandmaterialpreparation
• Meetagreedupongoalsandobjectivesinatimelymanner
• Completeinspectionreportspriortothejobbeingremovedfromthemachine
• Performallotherdutiesasassigned

• Mustbewillingandabletoachieveyourcraneandforkliftcertification
• Mustbeabletoliftupto30lbs.
• Possessingandutilizingyourowntoolsfordailytasks(ex.micrometers,verniers, indicators, etc.)
• Machiningsoftwareknowledge,includingLemoine,MasterCam,andSmirtwouldbe considered an asset
• Strongmechanicalproblemsolvingandorganizationalskillswiththeabilitytowork under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• KnowledgeofmachiningequipmentandsoftwareincludingHeidenhainandFanuc controllers, milling, grinding, and fabrication would be considered an asset
• Experienceinamachineshopwouldbeconsideredanasset
• Ability to work shift work (days and afternoons), overtime, and weekends as required
