Job summary

Concorde Precision Machining, a subsidiary of Reko International Group Inc., in Windsor, ON, is seeking a Junior CNC Machinist to manufacture machined components.

You will operate CNC and manual equipment, verify material and dimensions per drawings, and complete inspection reports as part of a fast-paced shop.

The position offers an hourly wage of $23.00 to $30.00, potential overtime, and apprenticeship/benefit programs designed to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience
• Grade12O.S.S.Dorequivalent
• Mustbewillingandabletoachieveyourcraneandforkliftcertification
• Mustbeabletoliftupto30lbs.
• Possessingandutilizingyourowntoolsfordailytasks(ex.micrometers,verniers, indicators, etc.)
• Machiningsoftwareknowledge,includingLemoine,MasterCam,andSmirtwouldbe considered an asset
• Strongmechanicalproblemsolvingandorganizationalskillswiththeabilitytowork under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• KnowledgeofmachiningequipmentandsoftwareincludingHeidenhainandFanuccontrollers,milling,grinding, and fabrication would be considered an asset
• Experienceinamachineshopwouldbeconsideredanasset
• Ability to work shift work (days and afternoons), overtime, and weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Work in a clean, safe, and organized manner per Health and Safety program
• Verify materials for size, shape, and type according to drawings
• Operate machine shop equipment including bridge ports, surface grinders, horizontal lathe, saws, and CNC machinery
• Use measuring tools to verify that machined components conform to blueprint dimensions
• Utilize machine shop equipment with care and respect
• Participate in finishing of details and material preparation
• Meet agreed up to goals and objectives in a timely manner
• Complete inspection reports prior to job removal from the machine
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The successful individual will be required to perform and complete tasks associated with the manufacturing of all machined components.

Here’s what a typical day looks like!
