Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support customers across industries, acting as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer. You’ll help craft strategies to drive adoption of AWS services, engage with senior leadership on incidents and risk, and ensure operational health of customer environments.

Travel up to 10% or more may be required. This is not a sales role but a high-impact technical leadership position within AWS Enterprise Support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to AWS Enterprise Support customers across industries.
• Help craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, and more.
• Represent AWS within a customer's environment and discuss incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk with senior leadership.
• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using AWS best practices and keep environments operationally healthy.
