WSP Global Inc. in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Municipal Engineering to lead delivery of critical infrastructure projects from concept to construction.

You will mentor teams, manage scope, budgets and schedules, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to design resilient water, wastewater, road and transportation systems. The role emphasizes technical leadership, safety, quality delivery, and business development support to grow the municipal practice

Qualifications

• P.Eng. designation required or equivalent.
• Extensive experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, roads and transportation.
• Proven project management experience: managing scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
• Strong understanding of municipal standards, regulatory frameworks, and best practices.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring staff.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of complex municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Drive technical excellence in water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation and roadway systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Build and strengthen relationships with municipal, provincial and private sector clients.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical professionals.
• Champion quality management, safety and risk mitigation during project execution.
• Support proposals, pursuits and business development to grow the practice.
• Influence community development by delivering infrastructure that improves quality of life.
