Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and active P.Eng designation in Alberta.
• 10 to 15+ years of municipal infrastructure project delivery experience.
• Proven capability leading complex municipal engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Alberta municipal processes, permitting, and infrastructure standards.
• Experience designing water, sanitary, stormwater, and roadway systems.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to site-based work.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and site-servicing projects for public and private sector clients.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through design phases with excellence and innovation.
• Grow client relationships and serve as trusted advisor from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with municipal, utility, and regulatory agencies to navigate planning and approvals.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, scope, and project quality.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction activities.
• Mentor and elevate emerging professionals in Calgary municipal design.
• Contribute to proposal development, including scope, fee, and RFP responses.
