Jobgether seeks a Senior Captive Account Manager based in Canada to oversee a portfolio of captive insurance clients. The role focuses on financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and premium tax management in a remote setting.

You will collaborate with actuaries, auditors, brokers, and TPAs to deliver precise financial insights, contribute to captive feasibility studies, and support governance documentation. A strong accounting background and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred; CA, ACI, CPCU, or ARM also accepted.
• 5–7 years experience in captive insurance or related field.
• Strong premium tax expertise and regulatory knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and client-service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for captive insurance entities.
• Coordinate regulatory filings with state authorities and domiciles.
• Manage premium tax accounting, filings, and reconciliations.
• Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with actuaries, auditors, brokers, TPAs, and carriers.
• Monitor capital, cash flow, investments, and solvency indicators.
• Review underwriting results and claims to ensure accurate reporting.
