Job summary

Zensurance in Canada seeks a Senior Commercial Insurance Broker to join the Elite Accounts team. This role targets high-value clients, acting as a trusted advisor and owning end-to-end account stewardship throughout the year.

Reporting to the Practice Leader, you will audit policy data, negotiate optimal coverage with carriers, and lead renewal strategies to maximize long-term client retention.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid broker license for your province and 5+ years of commercial experience.
• Bonus: CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation.
• Able to audit renewals and negotiate coverage with carriers.
• Act as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Onboarding: onboarding new customers and establishing trusted advisors.
• Circle of Protection: manage existing book of business for large, complex accounts.
• Forensic Policy Review: review submissions and policy data for accuracy.
• Risk Architecture: design risk mitigation strategies and review contracts.
• Year-Round Stewardship: maintain value through the policy lifecycle, drive renewals.
