Job Description

The Senior Buyer, Programmatic, is primarily responsible for driving results by optimizing in-platform efficiencies and achieving client KPIs. As a trader, they should have comprehensive knowledge of the technology marketplace and a strong perspective on how to maximize value for clients across platforms and partners. The role involves devising and executing programmatic strategies, recommending data-driven approaches, and promoting data compliance within the team and organization. The Senior Buyer manages campaigns, provides guidance to reports, maintains key partnerships, and troubleshoots inventory and performance issues. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in digital media, working with programmatic technologies and understanding the digital technology landscape.

Accountabilities :

  • Ensure quality assurance and control during campaign setup and reporting.
  • Take full responsibility for campaign optimizations, pacing, and KPI delivery daily.
  • Understand ad serving, attribution modeling, cross-device tracking, and third-party verification tools.
  • Conduct advanced optimization analysis, including inventory, geo-targeting, and win/loss assessments.
  • Train and develop Programmatic Trading Coordinators.
  • Analyze data, interpret insights, and communicate findings to optimize performance.
  • Activate audience data across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Engage with supply-side partners to understand Martech and data capabilities in the Canadian market and develop informed opinions.
  • Support new business initiatives as directed.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in administration, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with programmatic platforms, including major DSPs (DV360, Adobe, Amazon, StackAdapt, Trade Desk, etc.).
  • Proven track record of achieving results in KPIs and investment pacing.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong project management skills with team leadership experience.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $70k-$85k, adjusted based on experience, knowledge, and skills. Benefits include medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and others for permanent employees.
