You will mentor other analysts, guide data analysis, define data mappings, and partner with engineering to evaluate feasible options. This is a hybrid role based in Waterloo, Ontario.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in business analysis and business systems analysis.
• Ownership of requirements from inception through benefits realization.
• Strong hands-on experience across analysis, process mapping, and data concepts.
• Experience leading workshops with senior stakeholders and guiding decisions.
• Proven capability to mentor junior analysts and drive quality analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business, functional, and non‑functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and guide participants toward documented decisions.
• Analyze cross‑system processes to identify root causes and simplifications.
• Define data mappings and non‑functional requirements for complex integration.
• Partner with engineering to assess feasibility and impact of options.
• Own UAT strategy, entry/exit criteria, test scenarios, and sign‑off.
• Maintain traceability, improve documentation quality, and raise analysis standards.
• Mentor analysts and lead peer reviews of deliverables.
• Represent business perspective in design sessions and governance forums.
• Lead post‑implementation reviews to assess realized outcomes.
