Job summary

S.I. Systems Ltd. in Canada is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead end-to-end requirements gathering and process analysis across HR, Finance, or Supply Chain software programs.

You will work on SDLC and stage-gated delivery, coordinate with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure traceability from discovery through UAT and implementation. The role requires strong BA experience in technology environments, familiarity with Agile, Jira, Visio, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps, and system-wide change

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Business Analyst in technology or enterprise environments.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, modeling, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, or stage-gated delivery frameworks.
• Proficiency with Jira, Visio, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps, Confluence and ServiceNow.
• Ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements activities across multiple concurrent initiatives from discovery through validation, UAT, and implementation support
• Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to align requirements with scope, timelines, and delivery objectives
• Document as-is and to-be processes with stakeholders across business and technology
• Develop process models, workflows, and documentation to support efficient solution delivery
• Manage requirements lifecycle including traceability, change control, impact assessment, and dependency identification
• Support UAT planning and coordination, test scenarios and test cases, defect tracking, and requirements-to-test traceability
• Develop and deliver stage gate documentation across the project lifecycle

Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with end-to-end requirements gathering and process analysis using SDLC and stage-gated delivery for HR, Finance, or Supply Chain software programs

Candidates must be located in Calgary or Edmonton. Hybrid work model of 3 days in-office, and 2 days WFH

Must Haves

• 8+ years as a Business Analyst within technology or enterprise environments supporting SDLC program delivery across multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, modeling, validation, and lifecycle management within complex environments
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, or stage-gated delivery frameworks; stage gate documentation delivery
• Jira setup and management; Visio, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps, Confluence, ServiceNow
• Skilled at translating complex challenges into actionable solutions and engaging stakeholders across all levels.

Strong Nice to Have:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from IIBA
• Experience delivering projects requiring strong stakeholder management and large organizational change would be an asset.
