Job summary

Technology Management Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive Commercial P&C and MGA experience to support the Sure Commercial implementation. The role covers broker submissions, underwriting lifecycle, rating, quotes, binds and policy transactions.

You will document requirements, translate them into configuration and user stories, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams. Strong Agile/Scrum and client-facing communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience with Commercial P&C experience.
• Strong MGA understanding and underwriting lifecycle.
• Experience with MGAs, specialty insurers or delegated underwriting.
• Deep knowledge of commercial P&C processes: appetite, rating, quote, bind, policy transactions.
• Experience with at least one commercial insurance platform.
• Strong client-facing communication and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience with implementation, configuration, SIT and UAT.
• Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from MGA stakeholders and underwriters.
• Translate business requirements into Sure Commercial configuration, user stories, workflows and functional specifications.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and define configuration vs. integration requirements.
• Support commercial insurance product, underwriting, rating and policy transaction requirements.
• Define broker submission and submission-to-bind workflows.
• Support integrations with rating engines, carrier, broker, accounting and other downstream systems.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and business rules.
• Support SIT, UAT, testing, defect analysis and business sign-off.
• Facilitate client workshops and work closely with product owners, architects, developers and QA teams.
