We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Commodities Business Analyst to support trading, risk, and operations functions across physical and financial commodities. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, streamline processes, and implement system solutions across front, middle, and back-office teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Partner with traders, risk managers, operations, and IT to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze current workflows related to commodities trading (oil, gas, power, metals, agri, etc.) and recommend enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for system development and configuration.
• Assist with implementation and enhancement of ETRM/CTRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro, Aspect, Eka, Openlink).
• Support front-to-back trade lifecycle workflows, including pricing, trade capture, risk analysis, P&L reporting, settlements, and regulatory compliance.
• Work with developers and QA teams to ensure functional requirements are delivered as expected.

Testing & Support:

• Design and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scenarios and support end users during testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trade booking, pricing models, risk metrics, and data integrity.

Documentation & Process Improvement:

• Create detailed documentation of business processes, functional specifications, and system configurations.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements across the trade lifecycle.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in commodities trading or energy markets.
• Deep understanding of physical and financial commodity products, including futures, forwards, options, and swaps.
• Experience with ETRM/CTRM platforms (Openlink, Allegro, Endur, etc.).
• Familiarity with market data, risk analytics, and settlement processes.
• Strong skills in SQL, Excel, and data analysis.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, REMIT, etc.) is a plus.
