Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a Building Envelope Engineer / Designer in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role involves designing and developing building envelope systems for new construction and renovations, and performing inspections and technical reporting to support rehabilitation projects.

You will work with architects, engineers and contractors, review drawings, assist with scopes and budgets, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or technical education in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in building envelope, building science, restoration, construction, or consulting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop building envelope systems for new construction and renovations.
• Conduct building condition assessments and investigations.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contractor submittals.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports, details, and repair recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and support the envelope practice development.
