Job summary

BPA is seeking a Senior Building Enclosure Engineer to lead investigations, design rehabilitation, and validate performance across existing and new projects. You will mentor team members, collaborate with sustainability groups, and coordinate with architects and MEP teams to ensure durable, high‑performance enclosures.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in building enclosure engineering, restoration, rehabilitation, or existing building assessment.
• 5+ years in a leadership role within the building enclosure consulting services.
• Registered P.Eng. in Ontario preferred; licensure in other provinces/assets considered.
• French language skills are an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure analysis and design for rehabilitation, renewal, and new construction.
• Coordinate enclosure testing, field investigations, and technical reviews.
• Perform thermal and hygrothermal modelling and translate findings into reports and specs.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with architects, sustainability groups, and project teams.
• Support business development and contribute to proposals and technical submissions.
