Job summary

CGIC is seeking a Claims Representative III, Bodily Injury to investigate, negotiate and resolve complex BI claims. The role involves handling high-stakes automobile claims, liaising with claimants, clients, and legal representatives, and providing guidance to the claims team.

The position is based in Canada with a hybrid work model (2 days in office) and requires English; French is an asset. A CIP designation and provincial adjuster license(s) are preferred, with travel and background checks as

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of BI experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma required.
• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation preferred.
• Provincial adjuster license(s) depending on province of work.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate and settle very large and complex Bodily Injury claims.
• Contact claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses during investigations and resolutions.
• Manage complex files involving multiple parties in defense litigation and ADR.
• Coach, train and provide technical support to the claims team.
