Job summary

CGIC is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims Representative III to join our hybrid team in Canada. You will investigate, negotiate, and resolve complex bodily injury claims for automobile policies, liaising with claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses.

You will coach and support the claims team, drive client-centric service, and contribute to procedural excellence while balancing risk and efficiency in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of claims or related business experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma is required.
• CIP designation is preferred and valued.
• Provincial adjuster license(s) will be required depending on province of work.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, interpret coverage, negotiate and settle very large and complex bodily injury claims for Automobile Policies.
• Contact claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in investigation and resolution of claims.
• Manage complex files involving multiple parties in defense litigation and ADR.
• Coach, train, and provide technical support to the claims team.
• Provide exceptional client service aligned with claims standards and quality expectations.

As a Bodily Injury Claims Representative III you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation and resolution of complex Bodily Injury Claims. You will contribute to our client service culture through daily interactions and by implementing innovative, client-centric solutions.

How You Will Create Impact

• Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and settling very large and complex bodily injury claims for Automobile Policies.
• Contacting claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
• Managing very complex files involving multiple parties in defense litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
• Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
• Providing exceptional client and claimant service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.

To Join Our Team

• You have three years of claims or related business experience.
• You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
• You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
• You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.

Salary information

Expected Salary range : 72,847.00 to 121,411.00

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
