Job summary

Air is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to own end-to-end billing operations from Stripe administration to AR reconciliation. You will be the primary contact for billing inquiries while maintaining precision and independence in a fast-paced, finance-focused role.

This role requires solid experience with Stripe, AR, and enterprise billing platforms, plus the ability to resolve issues and explain complex processes to customers.

Qualifications

• Billing/AR experience with real invoicing, reconciliation, or payments operations
• Understanding of how invoices tie to a ledger and AR aging basics
• Stripe fluency for subscriptions, refunds, and payments workflows
• Experience with enterprise billing platforms (Bill.com, Tipalti, Coupa or Ariba)
• Ability to use AI tools to gather context and draft responses efficiently

Responsibilities

• Own the billing inbox and triage inquiries about invoices and payment issues
• Process Stripe operations including cancellations, refunds, invoices, and credits
• Reconcile vendor payments against Stripe invoices and maintain credentials
• Handle tax exemptions and verify vendor payment details before funds release
• Investigate disputed invoices and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues
