Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Senior BI & Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team in Canada. You will turn complex scientific and operational data into clear, actionable insights and lead analytical solutions that illuminate KPIs and performance metrics.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to map processes, align data solutions with operations, and conduct deep dive analyses to support strategic decisions and evidence-based recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, CS, or related field.
• MBA/Information Systems is an asset.
• 5+ years in SQL, data mining, profiling, and validation.
• 5+ years as BI/Data Analyst or Senior/Lead.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Life science/biotech experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover insights for strategic initiatives.
• Map business processes to align data solutions with operations.
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance metrics.
• Lead requirements workshops and UAT for data products.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.
• Perform data profiling, mining, and validation.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Build business and data flow diagrams.
