Job summary

Canada Life is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Business Enablement, Data Analytics & Reporting team. You will support Canada Operations and Enablement with analytics solutions spanning descriptive to prescriptive, driving operational efficiency and informed decision‑making.

You will model, analyze, and translate business requirements into data, reporting, and analytics projects, overseeing them through their lifecycle and presenting actionable insights to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience and a master’s degree in related field or equivalent combination
• Strong experience with data analytics tools (SQL, Python) and data visualization (Power BI)
• Experience with Databases (SQL Server), Cloud (Azure) and data modeling/dashboards

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into data requirements; collect, integrate, clean, model, and analyze large datasets; visualize insights for leaders
• Build, implement and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards
• Use Azure Databricks and SQL to transform data; deliver governed analytics solutions with Power BI
