About The Role

As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of multifamily projects, primarily wood-frame. Responsibilities include overseeing all project phases, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical delivery of multifamily projects.
• Manage all project phases from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Mentor junior architects.
• Ensure compliance with BC Building Code and zoning laws.
• Coordinate drawings, manage budgets and schedules.
• Attend meetings and site visits to maintain quality and design integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience, leadership in multifamily projects.
• Registered Architect (AIBC) or eligible.
• Experience with low/mid-rise wood-frame projects in BC.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; SketchUp and Adobe Suite are assets.
• Strong knowledge of BC Building Code and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Practical, solutions-oriented approach.
