The Application Support Analyst’s role is to deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. This includes troubleshooting applications and software for all internal customers, such as operations, development, and other business units. The Application Support Analyst is also responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications training programs and related courseware.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the proper function of in-cab hardware, and software, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  2. Maintain documentation regarding various incidents, projects, processes and operations. Identify and communicate with key stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate effective cooperation between subject matter experts from the business, IT staff, and vendors as appropriate.
  4. Design, develop, and test systems to meet business requirements.
  5. Perform preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of in-cab technologies, including dashcams, ELDs, ADAS, and mobile device integration.
  • Knowledge of the following software applications: Geotab, Lytx, OMS, Microsoft SQL, ServiceNow.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Occasional travel required in Canada and the US.
