Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is seeking an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. This group helps ensure the firm and its personnel comply with professional, regulatory, and KPMG global policies. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards related to personal independence, including regulations by the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consulting with experts and reviewing risk management manuals.
• Conduct compliance audits related to personal independence standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches to the Compliance Manager.
• Respond to inquiries via the KICS help desk regarding investments and independence policies.
• Assist with other compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business or finance preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills to interpret standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume environments with high-quality deliverables under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a team.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Business-level English proficiency is required.

The salary range for BC Region is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially with bonuses, depending on skills, location, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package.
