Job summary

Fairstone Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst, Commercial Lending to assess and analyze investment proposals for a wide range of commercial mortgage transactions. This role reports to the Director, Commercial Real Estate and sits within a dynamic team in a hybrid Toronto environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in commercial mortgage lending, strong Excel skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, economics, or related discipline.
• MBA or CFA considered assets or pursued later.

Responsibilities

• Analyze investment proposals and prepare written recommendations (Term Sheet format).
• Collect due diligence items and present proposals within timelines.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure timely funding and service quality.
• Maintain objective risk assessments in a high-volume, rigorous environment.
• Support the Director in achieving Large Commercial business objectives.
