Job summary

RBC Capital Markets is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to advance our AI-enabled CI/CD pipelines. You will develop value-add DevOps services using GitHub Actions, TypeScript, Python and Java, integrating with our current stack and embedding agentic AI throughout the pipeline.

Responsibilities include prototyping AI tooling, championing developer experience, and mentoring delivery teams on adopting agentic AI practices while maintaining high standards of SDLC delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of development experience in at least one listed language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, C/C++).
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools.
• Familiarity with design patterns and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop value-add DevOps services and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TypeScript, Python and Java that integrate with existing stack.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate design, build, and maintenance of DevOps tooling.
• Design and embed agentic AI within CI/CD pipelines to automate reviews, testing, remediation, and release decisions.
• Prototype and evaluate emerging agentic AI tools and patterns, recommending adoption strategies.
• Coach application teams on leveraging DevOps offerings and agentic AI in delivery workflows.
