Job summary

PeoplePilot is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer in Canada to support DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and deployment within capital markets. You will guide application teams, troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, and migrate Jenkins and manual deployments to GitHub Actions.

Key duties include configuring pipeline stages, building automation, and supporting Maven, NPM, PyPI, Docker, and Kubernetes environments. Collaboration across teams and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or IT diploma with relevant experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines experience across multiple tech stacks.
• Ability to design and debug CI/CD pipeline stages.
• Experience with multiple codebases and build tools.
• Strong Maven knowledge: POM and settings from scratch.
• Proficient in NPM and PyPI builds and commands.
• Experience with .NET, dotnet, MSBuild.
• Strong GitHub Actions workflows, execution, and runners.

Responsibilities

• Support application teams migrating from Jenkins, RLM, or manual deployments to GitHub Actions
• Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps and CI/CD issues
• Create, configure, and debug CI/CD pipeline stages
• Develop automation/configuration for application integration
• Write Maven POM and Settings files from scratch
• Work with various codebases and build tech
• Configure GitHub Actions workflows and runners
• Support Jenkins builds, multibranch and Maven pipelines
• Diagnose and resolve Jenkins build failures
• Configure and support SonarQube
• Work with Terraform and UCD for deployment tooling
• Support Ansible-based deployment automation
• Work with Docker and containerization; write Dockerfiles
• Support Kubernetes clusters and management
