Reporting to : Senior Manager, Global Health and Welfare Benefits

This role oversees benefits activities including financial tracking, invoicing, benchmarking, rate renewals, enrollments, issue resolution, verifications, and plan updates. It coordinates with global locations, benefit administrators, consultants, and insurers, supporting employee programs such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA, HSA, and voluntary benefits across Canada and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise benefits administration activities globally, collaborating with insurers, administrators, and consultants.
  • Review vendor invoicing, process bill reconciliations.
  • Support rate renewal processes, reviewing proposals, and preparing cost analyses.
  • Provide data, audits, and reports for management.
  • Analyze benefit plan usage and costs to improve programs.
  • Assist in open enrollment initiatives, testing, and system updates.
  • Respond to employee benefits inquiries.
  • Evaluate and improve administration processes and vendor relationships.
  • Participate in special projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Actuarial Science.
  • At least 5 years of benefits-related experience in Canada or the U.S.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (asset).
  • Fluent in English; French skills are an asset.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
